Screenshot (20)Learning to play music is difficult, especially when you teach yourself, and doing so as a young child is remarkable. Doing so as a blind child is unbelievable… or is it?

Not for Kale Apongan! Before he could even walk Kale had taught himself how to play music on a keyboard. With sight not being an option, Kale learned his music through touch and sound. He cannot see the music that he is playing, but he can feel and hear it, and it is his ticket to feeling the world around him.

Don’t focus on your limitations; focus on your possibilities. Kale is proof that if you focus on what’s possible and practice hard enough, you’ll make something happen. You don’t need to physically see your goal, you just need to be able to have that vision in your mind. What’s your vision? Ready? Set? Go!
