COLLABORATIVE
MENTORING

Grounded conversation for adults sensing it’s time for something to shift.

It’s not therapy. It’s not coaching. So, what is it?

Collaborative Mentoring is a steady, adult-to-adult conversation designed to help you think clearly, be heard, and name what’s true for you so you can take grounded next steps that fit your life.

No diagnosing.
No performance.
No hype.
Just clarity, direction, and forward movement.

If you’re familiar with my work through Begin with Yes, you already know the tone – steady, hopeful, and practical. This work carries that same grounded approach into real-time conversation.

You’re Not Falling Apart

From the outside, your life probably looks fine.

You show up.
You handle things.
You’ve built something solid.

But something inside you knows this isn’t quite it.

Maybe you were promoted, or laid off, or retired – and surprised by how that actually feels.
Maybe the kids left home, or a relationship shifted, or a marriage ended.
Maybe your friend group has changed (or you’ve quietly outgrown it).
Maybe you moved to a new city, or you’re caring for aging parents.
Maybe you just outgrew a role, or a version of yourself, or you’re simply successful yet quietly unsatisfied.

There are all kinds of “maybes” that bring people here. And for some, nothing changed on paper, but something shifted within. It doesn’t have to be dramatic to matter.

Sometimes it’s just a quiet awareness:
I want more alignment. More clarity. More fit.

That’s usually where we begin.

What We Actually Do

We slow things down.
We discuss the truth about your situation – without shame or drama.
We sort through what feels tangled.
We notice what’s working and what isn’t.
We focus on what you can influence and begin there.

Not with a leap, but with one honest step.

I listen carefully. I reflect what I’m hearing. I ask questions that help you hear yourself more clearly.

There’s encouragement – steady, not performative.
There’s accountability – and it comes from you.

Most people don’t leave with a dramatic breakthrough moment. They leave with clarity and a renewed confidence and concrete next steps that feel like their own.

Who This Is For

It’s for thoughtful adults sensing it’s time for something to shift. Those in midlife and beyond are often clients; people who don’t need therapy – or who are already doing that good work elsewhere and aren’t looking for a hype-driven coaching experience.

Adults who are functioning well. Not in crisis. But aware that something needs attention.

People who want clarity, not theatrics; movement, not noise, and a steady partner in the room.

How the Work Unfolds

This isn’t a one-call fix. Occasionally, a single conversation creates immediate clarity and something simply clicks. That does happen.

More often, we work together over several sessions. We give the process space. We let insights settle. You take steps in real life, and we come back and refine.

Real change tends to unfold steadily, not dramatically. There’s no long-term contract and no pressure. We continue as long as the work feels useful and honest.

Where We Meet

Sessions are available:
• In person at my office in Orlando.
• Remotely via Zoom for clients across the country and around the world.

The Invitation

If you’re reading this and thinking, “Yes, this is me,” you don’t need a five-year plan. You just need a place to start.
