As we celebrate the holidays, I wanted to offer thanks to all those who work through them to help those in need. Nurses, doctors, firefighters, rescue workers, police and many others. Please keep them in mind during this holiday season.
In this story called “My Christmas Eve” by poet and storyteller Bob Welsh, he recounts his experience as an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper and the disconcerting responsibility of delivering devastating news to families, even on Christmas Eve. I’m sharing this as a reminder to be safe, happy and thankful.
The holidays are a time for family, traveling and enjoying parties together. Please be responsible and careful this holiday season so that you and your loved ones will be around for the next one. Be safe and happy, and have a great holiday!
