You never really know what others are going through. Most people portray an outward appearance that makes you think everything is just fine. Sure, there are some people who wear their heart on their sleeve and tell others every little detail, but most people try to be strong and give the impression that their life is under control.
Occasionally we meet people who are grumpy or easily aggravated, and we shrug them off or offer a comment that reflects their grumpiness. If we understood – or even felt just a bit of compassion – people like that would consume less of the energy we allow them to and our interaction might reflect more kindness.
Watch this video and then remember its message the next time you see people on the street. If you practice compassion and understanding, your days will get better and your life will be less stressful. Just find your magic glasses!
