This is an eye-opening social experiment that makes us wonder how we would react in these situations.

Sometimes our ability to give kindness and compassion is biased by our perception of who really needs it. We make quick judgments based on what we see in front of us, when if we took a minute to think we’d know that there’s always more than meets the eye.

As with many things in life, a brief pause before reacting would likely change our action. It’s better to err on the side of saying “yes” and send an abundance of kindness and compassion into the world.

This video also embodies one of my favorite quotes from Winston Churchill, which is “We make a living by what we do, but we make a life by what we give.”

Next time you find yourself feeling judgmental, pause, and maybe you’ll find kindness instead.

Here’s the video. What would you do?

3 minutes that will change the way you think. SHARE
