Christmas and this holiday season are about so much more than presents and buffet style dinners. They’re about spending time with your loved ones. As soon as we reunite with family and friends that we haven’t seen in a while, all the stress of finding the perfect gift and baking the most delicious cookie just melts away, and we are reminded of what the holiday spirit is really about: being grateful for what we have and living life with our loved ones.
No matter who you are spending the holidays with, be sure to hug them a little bit tighter and a little while longer. For those you cannot be with, make sure a phone call or a kind message finds its way to them.
Whatever stressors you may have, set them aside. Focus on sharing your love and embracing the love from others today; you can take more steps towards your goals tomorrow.
