There are so many wonderful lessons to be learned here! School principal Jeremy Day decided he wanted to take viola lessons so he joined his 5th grade students in music class. The experience seems to have had a wonderful effect on all involved.
On the day of their first performance he even invited his dad, just like all the other students, and participated in the concert. He set a wonderful example for the kids, as you can see from the video. He wasn’t afraid to show his students that you’re never too old to try something new and that it’s ok to mess up in the process.
We can all learn something from this. If there’s something new that you’ve always wanted to try, let this inspire you to say YES!
