Lizzie Velasquez was born with a disease so rare it doesn’t even have a name. What she did with it is even more rare!
Her disease caused others to stare and make hurtful comments, but instead of dwelling on those comments, she chose to use them as fuel to fulfill a dream as a motivational speaker.
She’s such a strong and inspiring young woman. To take all the challenges she’s faced in her life and turn them into something so inspirational is a wonderful example for us all.
