I wholeheartedly believe that pets can transform lives. Their unconditional love can have a profound effect. When you rescue or adopt a pet, it is very likely that a part of you will be rescued, too. Maybe you were looking to be rescued, or maybe it will come as a sweet surprise!
Perhaps I’m being just a bit naïve, but this is a story that I so want to believe has a happy ending for both of these men and their beloved dogs. They’ve conquered so much individually and as a team, it is easy to imagine that they’ll continue those forward motion steps to a better life.
