Beau Dermot is a 12-year-old girl who recently performed on Britain’s Got Talent. The judges and audience listened in amazement as she beautifully and maturely belted out a very difficult song to sing. After watching her perform “Defying Gravity” (a song from the musical “Wicked” originally recorded by Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth), it is no wonder that Beau wasn’t just picked to compete in the next round, she was automatically granted a semi-final spot!
As you can imagine, Beau put in a lot of time and practice into perfecting her voice and this song. Things that you want in life almost always take time and effort, but are always worth it.
Watch this performance and be inspired. Allow yourself to realize a talent that you have, and give yourself a chance to practice it! Why? Because it makes you happy. You don’t need any more reason than that!
